Nothing Beats A Family Xmas!

Well after a week of holidays on the blogging front it’s back to business as usual! And seeing as it’s the festive season I thought I’d pass on some more of what my xmas entailed!

If you’ve ‘liked’ the Facebook Fanpage you’ll know that I eased back to the UK for xmas this year  – which none of my family had any clue about and it’s the second time I’ve surprised them in just a few months! Needless to say they were caught totally off guard (I’d told them I was spending it in Indonesia!) but were stoked to see me.

I’m heaps glad I came back for the holidays as I spent it surrounded by family, friends and with heaps too much food and booze! My first day back was my Dads birthday which kicked off with a bucks fizz breakfast at 9am and it all kind of went down hill from there with drunken xmas parties, xmas eve in the pub, the standard xmas and boxing day excess and some catch up drinks over the days after! Glorious chaos!

It was great to be home again and to introduce the girl to an English xmas too (and her first away from home) …so the above picture is all my family (minus the little bro who celebrated on the beaches of Byron Bay in Australia) about to chow down on a huge english roast cams dinner courtesy of my Uncles cooking skills!

As much as I enjoyed being at home I’ve bounced again already and I’m currently sat in Switzerland – about to head up to the Swiss Alps to spend new year with the girls family and hit the slopes with my snowboard…no rest for the wicked hey?!
