I’ve only been in Cambodia a few days but I’ve already fallen in love with it – the place is beautiful and the people are heaps friendly. I shot this portrait whilst a Cambodian family helped fix my buddies push bike when the chain snapped, we were with them just over an hour and they were more than happy to let me shoot some portraits. This country is inspiring me to shoot heaps more with my SLR as no one seems to care about cameras…in Thailand or Indo I always felt like I wasn’t welcome with my camera and people always wanted cash or so on – but here they are happy to share their stories, help someone in need and are some of the warmest people I’ve ever met!
