Monthly Travel Summary, Stats and Budget – July ’15

July saw me bouncing around the Philippines before heading back to Australia – so here’s the low down on what I got up to and most importantly how much it all cost…

Seriously what is happening to this year!? It’s mental that it’s August already!

Luckily the Aussie winter has been pretty epic and it’s sunshine all round in Byron Bay, which has been my base for the last few months now.

August has been filled with more Filipino goodness though as I bounces around Palawan, Bohol and Manila on my trip with Tourism Philippines which was incredible!

I spent the remainder of the month back in Byron catching up with some old travel buddies, making some new ones and putting together my next set of adventures which kick off later this month – exciting times!

Still you guys are here for my monthly roundup…

So here’s my stats round up for July 2015;

Money Breakdown

The Philippines – £0 over 6 days = £0 per day My trip to The Philippines was a collaboration between Tourism Philippines and myself – as well as a few other awesome bloggers – so I didn’t have to dip into my wallet for it!

Australia£627.58 over 25 days = £25.10 per day

Total spent – £627.58 over 31 days = £20.24 per day

Not a bad month really, looking forward to bouncing to a cheaper part of the world in the future though, Australia always ramps up my daily spend!

Cheapest Place – Given the fact I was on a press trip The Philippines easily wins this!haha!

Most Expensive Place – Byron is never going to be the cheapest spot to be based but I’m managing to keep my outlay to a minimum since I already have a surfboard…which means the ocean is free!

Yeeewwwww!

Biggest Splurge/Unforeseen Expense – I had a couple of big nights out and meals with buddies this month but nothing huge eating into my travel budget…although I may have spontaneously bought some flights (not included in my spend) which I’ll divulge more about soon…!

Highlight – My Philippines adventure was pretty damn epic, so much fun and I hope you enjoyed all the pics and blog posts I’ve been sharing!

Another highlight of the month has to be meeting the lovely Erinn…looks like we’ll be travelling together a lot in the near future!

Lowlight – Alls been good this month! Happy days in the Bay!

Top Shot

I’ve shot so many pictures this month it’s been insane! I think I’ll have to go with this sunset surfer shot though…pretty much captures the awesomeness of Byron Bay!

What’s Next?

Well if all goes to plan August is going to see some BIG shake ups! Looks like I’ll be saying farewell to Byron Bay after nearly 5 months being back in the Byron Bubble and heading of on a random and pretty spontaneous trip to San Francisco at the end of the month…which kickstarts a whole new chapter in my travels which I’m massively stoked for!

So keep an eye out for all the details soon!
