Exploring Kruger National Park in South Africa with my camera was incredible, it was great to photograph so many beautiful animals in the wild. Here’s my top shots…
I had an incredible experience on my safari in Kruger National Park when I arrived in South Africa last week – it was an amazing opportunity to check out some beautiful wildlife in their natural environment. It did also present an epic chance for me to put my photography degree to good use and I loaded up my SLR, 500mm lens and rest of my camera kit and reeled off thousands of pics during my 4 day trip!

Anyway I hope you enjoy them as much as I did shooting them (despite the fact there was a a lot of patience involved in capturing them!) and having received a few emails from readers already if you want a copy of any of the shots as a print or canvas drop me an email and we’ll sort something out!
…also as you may be able to tell the humble zebra was definitely my favourite animal to photograph!
Although these are my top pictures there’s still hundreds left on my hard drive and I’ll no doubt be showcasing some more of them in the future over on my Instagram feed (@backpackerbanter) and on the Backpacker Banter Facebook Page. Stoked to see what the rest of South Africa has in in store for me – I’m loving this country already!
Let me know which one is your favourite – always keen to get feedback on my photos!
I love that little colourful bird! Do you know what it is? These are some really beautiful shots.
hahahaha he seems to be a favourite of quite a few people! If I remember correctly it’s a Lilac Breasted Roller and is actually the national bird of Botswana!
I hate you!!! I’m ITCHING to go back to the “mother ship”!! I so miss the wildlife!! It’s the one thing I miss most about SA.
Hope you’re having a great time. Enjoy my homeland. Be safe and enjoy your trip. Can’t wait to see more updates.
hahahaha sorry Sandra (ok I’m not sorry at all!) but I’m enjoying it out here heaps, such a beautiful place to explore and so much to do as well!
