We’re Streaking!

So the last week or so has been spent surfing all day right into the evening, chilling with a glass of goon back at the campsite and generally being too tired to stay up past 10!

It was time for some more goon related antics and some more amusing tales to send back home, alongside some pictures to make Camilla at STA chuckle a bit!

The day started routinely enough….headed round to Watego Beach for a surf….gave Ben a lesson, gave Kerri a lesson…proud to say that both pretty much stood up after a few tries! :)

Then headed back into town to chill at the Arts Factory with the nearly acquired Frank (a crazy Dutchman who has a whole heap of accents!) and Dan …Ben and Sammie in tow aswell.

We bantered and swam and soon a plan was formulated…BBQ round at the Broken Head Campsite? Don’t mind if we do!

Me and Ben hit the shops and returned with a whole heap of tasty treats – from falafel mix and calamari right through to pork bellies and herbed rissoles.

Him and Sammie headed back to wack everything in the fridge and the rest of us (me, Kez, Katie, Kat, Dan and Frank) did a booze run.

On the way to the campsite I was pulled for a random booze bus test….made all the more nerve wracking since we had 4 people on the back seat and throughout the whole test and talk Kat was hidden in the footwell!hahaha!

Test passed (despite some misunderstandings with how it worked….but all was cool as I hadn’t been drinking at all) we hit the road again.

The boys got down to the hard task of checking the beer was cold while Kat and Katie headed down to the beach to earn some extra dollar doing a photoshoot for a local photographer.

On their return an epic feast commenced….muchos beer and goon was consumed and 8 backpackers found themselves as full as they’d ever been since leaving home!

Naturally with our goon heads on thought turned to where the night was leading….then Ben suggested a skinny dip!

The gaunlet was set and we limboed our way through the campsite gates and across the beach.

Before we could get stage fright a naked Ben tore past me and dove into the sea.

Needless to say we all closely followed and the prescence of my camera made it all the more amusing!
