I spent last weekend exploring the floating islands of Lake Titicaca – some 20minutes boat journey off the mainland city of Puno in Peru. It’s a stunning place where local families literally live on reed beds floating around the lake, anchored together in a small community, the perfect place to take some lush shots! Tweet

The Galapagos Islands – My Top Shots
March 29, 2012
Since getting back from a week in the Galapagos Islands I’ve spent hours trawling through my photos, hours filled with editing and occasionally blind panic when a compact flash card decided to randomly format itself! For a traveller the Galapagos is a definite for the bucket list, but as a photographer it’s pure pornography! You [...]

After getting back from cruising the Galapagos this weekend I’ve been busy editing photos and typing up some blog posts on my lush adventure on these beautiful islands – so it’s only fitting that this week kicks off with a pic of the boat I spent a week living on – The Valkiria. A 10 [...]

I’d like to start off by saying that this image is unphotoshopped – except for the vignette border! Sunsets here in Montanita are off the chart and the best I’ve seen worldwide. And what better way to see out the day than with a sunset swim or surf as the light melts into the ocean. [...]

December 30, 2011
Well 2011 is nearly over – and it’s been a rather eventful year to say the least! And despite not travelling heaps I’ve managed to take lots of photos and create lots of memories. So here’s my 2011 in pictures – 12 months in 12 pictures… January – I started January up in the cold [...]
My Top 10 Thailand iPhone Pics
November 24, 2011
I'm an Apple geek – everyone knows that, and after my experiment in Morocco earlier this year to see if my iPhone could replace my SLR I've been shooting with my phone more than ever – and Thailand was no exception. I'm constantly amazed by the quality of the images it produces and with apps [...]

Chiang Mai Nightscape This shot was taken shortly after sunset up at Doi Suthep Temple in Chiang Mai, during my recent trip to Thailand. Theres something amazing about watching a city light up at night, especially with the sounds of Buddist prayer in the background. If you’re ever up that way be sure to take [...]

Melbourne Pier, VIC This is one of my favourite shots from Australia – somewhere on the sea front in Melbourne lies a little pier with this beautiful building at the end. I just so happened to be wandering around as a storm was rolling in at sunset – creating an epic background to shoot with. [...]

A Rare Glimpse of Scottish Sun This shot isn’t one from the gorgeous shores of Koh Phangan where I’m currently relaxing, nor is it from any of the more exotic places I’ve visited over the past few years. This image is from the coast of Scotland in the UK. You don’t need to fly halfway [...]

Monkey Mia, Western Australia Nope this isn’t a man hungry pack of sharks scaring the tourists out of the water as most people would think when seeing fins off an Australian beach – this is a graceful pod of dolphins at Monkey Mia in Shark Bay, WA. For years these dolphins have been returning to [...]

Another Perfect Start to The Day, Newquay I’m sure you’re all aware that waking up to some pumping swell is the way I most like to start the day. This image was shot on Thursday just before my beach lifeguard assessment at Lusty Glaze, Newquay. Beautiful blue lines rolling in on a sunny August morning [...]
