The Sandy Deserts of Huacachina

After moaning to heaps of my backpacking buddies that I was going to miss the ocean in the second half of my Peru trip they suggested I hit up Huacachina for some sand boarding antics – which I duly did! The landscape was far more beautiful than I could ever have hoped for – huge dunes stretched into the distance stopped only by the mountain range on the horizon. Perfect for some photos, star gazing and of course sliding down!
