Well it’s nearly the end of 2013 and that means one thing…IT’S NEARLY XMAS!

So I’d like to take the time to thank the people that keep the blog going – my readers!

Without you lot I’d simply be chatting to myself on the internet and that would kinda of suck! I blog as much for you guys as I do myself and I’ve enjoyed watching the whole thing grow, chatting to people over on the Facebook Page, sharing advice via email and you lot generally motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing!

So for that I thank you all heaps!

The blog has grown to over 15,000 unique visitors per month – a number which I never thought I’d achieve and there’s over 1,500 of you following my Facebook Fanpage…hopefully enjoying all the links, pictures and general chaos I’ve been sharing over there!

Incase you’re not already I’m also tweeting over at @bckpackerbanter and Instagramming via @backpackerbanter.

I’d also like to give a huge shout out to all the amazing travellers and backpackers I’ve met over the last 12 months who I’ve shared good times, bad times, epic times and drunk times with – it’s such a great community to be a part of and I know I’ll keep in touch with heaps of you…and make good use of your sofas as I continue my adventures around the world!

Throughout the year I’ve also worked with some great people and companies who have helped me have an amazing time and allowed me to keep the blog running and you guys interested!

So Massive shout out to all of the epic businesses I’ve worked with along my travel this year – all of whom come highly recommended by myself, so go show them some love on your adventures!

Special thanks to the following companies who I worked with on on bigger projects and who are generally freaking awesome!

So a massive thank you and merry xmas to each and every one of you. I hope you all have an amaze balls festive period surrounded by awesome people, food and booze and an equally excessive new year which will hopefully set you up for some travels in 2014.  I’ve just arrived back in the UK to surprise my family for xmas and then spend new year in Switzerland with the girl so I’ll be taking some time away from the blog to enjoy the cold a bit!

I look forward to meeting some of you on the road and I hope you all enjoy my next set of adventures which I’ll be announcing shortly after the new year!

Here’s to travels, friendships and living the dream – **CHEERS!**
