Hi,
I’m planning to go to Australia for a WHV, but also wanting to travel around a bit and see some stuff, basically not planning to stay in one place too long. I travelled Thailand with a suitcase and hated it, as it was too heavy and annoying to lug around and ended up buying a backpack, which was easier but annoying as I couldn’t carry round as much stuff. What would you recommend for Aus? I’m swaying more towards backpack, but then friends that have done it, have told me a suitcase is much better for a year living in Aus?
Hey Laura,
Stoked to hear you’re heading to Australia, you’ll love it out here!
Hmmmm it really depends on how much stuff you’re planning on bringing! Personally I recommend the Osprey Far Point – which is about 40 litres and should easily be enough. That being said though Oz is pretty easy with suitcases for getting around!
